These terms govern your subscription to Daro's bin-handling service. By signing up at getdaro.co.uk, you agree to them.

We move your council-issued bins from your designated storage location to the kerbside the night before each scheduled council collection, and return them to the storage location after the bin has been emptied. We photograph the bin at the kerb and after return as proof of service.
You must (a) be aged 18 or over, (b) be the householder, tenant, or have the householder's permission to instruct us, (c) live within our current service area, and (d) provide a valid UK bank account capable of accepting Direct Debit mandates.
Our service area at launch is restricted to specific postcode sectors within West Lothian. Current coverage is shown on getdaro.co.uk/coverage. We are not obliged to serve any address outside the listed sectors.
Tiers and prices are published on getdaro.co.uk/pricing. The price you sign up at is the price you pay until we notify you of a change (section 11) or you cancel. Founder Member £29/month is locked for the lifetime of your continuous subscription at the same address. If you cancel and resubscribe, Founder pricing does not return.
By subscribing you authorise our operatives to enter the curtilage of the property (driveway, side passage, front garden) to access your bins on collection days. You confirm you have the legal right to grant this access. Operatives carry photo ID and wear branded uniforms.
We take two photos per visit: bin at the kerb, bin returned. These are stored for 12 months in our secure database and used to (a) prove service, (b) resolve disputes, (c) train operatives. They are not shared with third parties except where required by law. See our Privacy Policy.
We may change these terms or our prices with 30 days' written notice to your registered email address. If the change is to your disadvantage you may cancel before it takes effect with no further charge. Founder Member £29/month is exempt from price changes for the lifetime of the continuous subscription.
You may cancel at any time by emailing support@getdaro.co.uk or via your customer dashboard once available. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month — no pro-rata refund is given for the partial month, but you remain entitled to service until the paid period ends. We may cancel your subscription on 30 days' notice for any reason, or immediately if you breach these terms materially.
We process your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. The ICO is our supervisory authority. Data rights requests: support@getdaro.co.uk.
These terms are governed by Scots law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
Email support@getdaro.co.uk with "Complaint" in the subject line. We will acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to resolve within 14. If you remain unhappy after our final response you may refer the matter to the Citizens Advice consumer service.
