About Daro
Daro takes bin day off your weekly mind. We're a subscription service operating in West Lothian, Scotland — growing carefully, deliberately, neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
Bin day is a small problem. It only takes a few minutes to wheel a bin to the kerb. Most weeks it's barely noticed. But "small and forgettable" is exactly the problem — it's the thing that catches you out at 22:47 on a Sunday evening, or the morning you realise from the empty street that the council's already been and gone.
It's the thing that quietly accumulates: forgotten weeks, friction with neighbours, the awkwardness of asking someone to put the bins out while you're away. It's not a crisis. It's a low hum of recurring micro-tasks that, like most small things, adds up.
Daro exists because some chores are worth paying someone else to handle reliably. Not because you can't. Because you don't want to.
We chose bin handling specifically because it has the clearest signal of any household chore: a fixed schedule, a clear outcome, a visible result. It's the easiest service in the world to prove we're doing well — we either turned up or we didn't, and you'll have a photo either way.
Founder
A Scottish home-services company
Daro Home Ltd was founded in 2026 to build a careful, premium home-services company that does one thing well before doing anything else.
Built in Scotland and run alongside other businesses — partly why Daro is structurally sustainable rather than aggressively scaled. Small, controlled, reliable: easier promises to keep than the ones bigger companies tend to make.

What we believe
01
We grow one neighbourhood at a time, and one service at a time. Bin handling first. Bin cleaning next, once we're confident in the foundations. We'd rather serve 500 households impeccably than 5,000 unevenly.
02
Every visit produces two photographs. Every notification has a timestamp. Every claim we make about reliability is something you can verify yourself. We don't ask you to trust us — we give you the evidence.
03
Our operatives are PAYE employees on the Real Living Wage, not gig-economy contractors. The work is small in scope, but it's real work — and the people who do it deserve the security and dignity that comes with that.
04
Most of our customers will never see us. That's the design. We work around households, not at them — premium service in 2026 means doing your job without becoming part of someone else's day.
Where we are
No PR spin. Just the operational facts of where Daro currently stands, what we're doing, and what's next.
