How it works
No app to install. No daily check-ins. You sign up once, we learn your council's collection calendar, and we handle bin day from then on. You get two photos per visit — one of the bin at the kerb, one of it back at your property — and a quiet notification.
01
Once · Three minutes
Postcode check, your address, where your bins live, and a Direct Debit mandate. We'll ask how to access the bins (e.g. side passage, latch only, no lock) so our team knows exactly what to find when they arrive.
02
Automatic · We do this
Different bins on different weeks, holiday rotations, strike days, snow days — we know about them before you do. You never enter a date, never confirm a schedule, never have to remember which colour goes out this week.
03
Every collection · Evening before
Between 5pm and 10pm the evening before your collection, a Daro operative moves your bin from where it lives to the kerb. You get a photo when it's done — clearly identifying which bin, where it sits, ready for the council lorry.
04
Every collection · Evening of
Between 4pm and 8pm on collection day, after the council has been, the bin is returned to its proper spot at your property. Lid down, where it lives. Second photo. Job done. You barely noticed.
A collection day
A standard collection day looks like this. The two umber moments — bin out, bin back — are when we're at your property. Everything else happens without you needing to think about it.
Sunday evening
No reminder needed. Daro already knows tomorrow is recycling day.
Sun · 19:30
Operative parks once on your street, walks between properties. Bins are moved to where the lorry expects them. First photo captured.
Sun · 19:32
A quiet message lands on your phone with the photo. Timestamped, geo-tagged. Proof, not noise.
Mon · Morning
Their job, not ours. We move the bins; they take the waste.
Mon · 17:00
Bin moved back to its usual location at your property. Lid down. Second photo captured.
Mon · 17:02
Second photo arrives. Bin day is now genuinely over. See you next collection.
When the unexpected happens
A bin service that only works when everything goes to plan isn't really a service. Here's what we do when it doesn't.
01
Strike, snow, mechanical failure, or just human error — sometimes the council doesn't come. We notice. We come back the next working day, no extra charge, no admin from you.
02
Founder rate stays attached to your address. Pause your subscription for any reason, any length, at no charge. Restart with a tap when you're back. Holiday absences shouldn't cost you money.
03
Gate locked, dog out, path obstructed — we phone you. If we can't reach you, we flag it in-app and reattempt the next working day. We never force entry, never make assumptions.
Setting up takes three minutes
No app required. No installation. The signup is a one-page form on our website — postcode, name, address, bins, Direct Debit. We confirm coverage instantly, set your first collection date, and you're done.
We confirm we cover your area instantly. If we don't yet, we save your email and let you know the moment we do.
Which bins you have, what colours, and exactly where they live at your property. The more precise, the better our team can serve you.
Secure Direct Debit via GoCardless. You're protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. Card payment also available if preferred.
You receive an email confirming your subscription and the date of your first collection. From that point, you don't need to do anything.
Founder Member offer · 49 of 50 left
The first 50 households in our coverage area get the Founder rate — for as long as they stay subscribed. The rate never goes up. Become one of them.
